About
Anna Sollewijn is a Dutch vocal jazz singer whose work goes well beyond a standard set list. Her show Anna's Story of Amy traces the musical world that shaped Amy Winehouse, weaving together the influences of Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra and Aretha Franklin into an evening that mixes soul, jazz and storytelling. It takes a confident performer to carry that kind of narrative, and Sollewijn pulls it off with a soulful voice and a natural stage presence. Before stepping out on her own, she spent two seasons as a featured guest soloist alongside Karin Bloemen, which gave her a solid platform in the Dutch live music scene.
