Anne Marie David is one of the rare artists to have represented two different countries at the Eurovision Song Contest, and she did it with remarkable results both times. In 1973 she won the contest for Luxembourg with Tu te reconnaîtras, edging out Mocedades and Cliff Richard by just a handful of points. Six years later she was back, this time flying the flag for her native France in Jerusalem, finishing third with Je suis l'enfant soleil. Her connection to Eurovision has stayed alive over the decades too: in 2005 she performed at the Congratulations 50 year Eurovision special, and in 2014 she appeared at the Eurosong final in Antwerp, where she sang a duet with Belgian entrant Axel Hirsoux.
