About
Also known as: Bauer, Bauuer, Harrison Rodrigues, Harry Bauer Rodrigues, Harry Rodrigues, バウアー
Baauer built his reputation in the early 2010s as one of the producers shaping the emerging electronic trap sound, alongside acts like TNGHT and RL Grime. Then "Harlem Shake" happened. Released as a free SoundCloud giveaway in 2012, it became the first US number one driven entirely by streaming after a Billboard chart rule change, went double platinum, and won Dance Song of the Year and EDM Song of the Year at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards. Not a bad start. Since then the Philadelphia born producer has kept busy on pretty much every front. His debut album Aa featured Future, M.I.A., Pusha T and G Dragon, while his follow up Planet's Mad scored a Grammy nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Album in 2021. In between he has produced for Tom Morello and G Dragon, scored the second season of Marvel's Iron Fist, and placed original music in FIFA 20 and Grand Theft Auto Online. More recently he has been dropping new material including "No Delay" and "Let Me Love U".
