Beyond Unbroken grew out of the ashes of Escape the Fate, when brothers Monte and Michael Money decided to start fresh under a new name. After a brief run as Money Brothers, they rebranded and built out a full lineup to create something heavier and more their own. Their 2017 EP Don't Wake the Dead, produced by Matt Good, set the tone, and their 2020 debut album Running Out of Time gave the project real legs. One of the EP's standout singles, Don't Wake the Dead, stirred up chatter about a lyric that seemed aimed at their former band, though Monte was quick to clear that up. The LA rock outfit signed with FiXT in 2023 and released a deluxe edition of Running Out of Time, then followed that up with their second album Destruction in 2024.
