BINI earned the title "Nation's Girl Group" for good reason. The eight member Filipino act, made up of Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena, went from a televised training program on ABS CBN to topping Billboard's Philippine Songs chart and clocking over a billion streams on Spotify. Their 2023 single "Pantropiko" turned into a full blown summer anthem after the Pantropiko Dance Challenge swept TikTok, and their EP Talaarawan only pushed them further. Their sound is rooted in bubblegum pop but stretches into a wide range of styles. The milestones have stacked up fast. In June 2024 they became the first Filipino artist to enter Spotify's Top Artist Global Chart, and in July they were the first Filipino pop act to perform at KCON, taking the stage at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. By November that year they had taken home the "Best Asia Act" at the MTV Europe Music Awards, the first Filipino act to do so. They were also announced as part of the 2026 Coachella lineup, making them the first Filipino group ever invited to the festival.
