About
Based out of Bloomline Studio in 's Gravendeel, this Dutch jazz quintet draws on a broad repertoire that spans classic compositions by Russ Freeman and Hank Mobley alongside original work of their own. The five piece lineup brings together guitar, piano, bass, drums, and alto and soprano saxophone, a combination that keeps the sound versatile without sacrificing swing. Their approach sits beyond the familiar jazz standards, reaching into adjacent styles while staying rooted in the acoustic tradition. The band pitches itself at a wide range of listeners, from dedicated jazz followers to anyone coming to the music fresh.
