About
Born A Tribe is an Amsterdam reggae band whose name says it all: the members come from all corners of the world, and that shows in the music. Reggae is the foundation, but the sound pulls in funk, flamenco, pop, hip hop, dancehall and ska, making for a genuinely eclectic mix held together by a shared feeling rather than a fixed formula. The band grew out of friendship and a collective love for reggae, and they have built up a solid live reputation over the years. Festival stages like Zwarte Cross, Kwaku Festival and Reggae Lake have all seen them perform, and they have played venues including Paradiso and Patronaat.
