Born from Pain have spent over two decades cementing their reputation as one of Europe's most serious hardcore acts. Formed in 1997 in the Oostelijke Mijnstreek region of the Netherlands, they built their name the hard way, through relentless touring across Europe, the United States, Mexico and Japan, and by sharing stages with heavy hitters like Hatebreed, Agnostic Front, Soulfly and Slayer. Their discography stretches from early releases on Gang Style Records through to Metal Blade Records albums like War and Survival, and more recent output including True Love in 2019. The band has weathered plenty of lineup turbulence over the years, most notably when founding frontman Ché Snelting departed in 2007. A string of temporary replacements followed, including Carl Schwartz of First Blood and Scott Vogel from Terror, before Rob Franssen settled into the vocalist role. That kind of resilience says a lot about how seriously Born from Pain takes what they do.
