Boy In Space (SE)

About

Also known as: Robin Lundbäck

Boy in Space is the solo project of Robin Lundbäck, a Swedish singer songwriter from Alingsås who first turned up on Australian TV screens as part of the boy band JTR on The X Factor Australia. The name comes from his own spacey personality, and he's described it as standing apart, being different, and leaving the familiar behind for somewhere unknown. His solo run started in 2018 with "Goodbye", followed by "Give Me" and "California". The big one was "Cold" in 2019, which pulled in close to 90 million Spotify streams. He's also written about heartbreak on "Drown", a song sparked by an episode of Friends. Since then there's been a cover of Alphaville's "Forever Young", a team up with Alan Walker and K 391 on "Paradise", and a string of EPs including Frontyard, Backyard, Copium and The Butterfly Affect. He's supported Alec Benjamin on tour, and his debut album The Man Who Lost it All is listed for 2026.
