Brabants Chamber Orchestra

About

The Brabants Chamber Orchestra brings together young musicians from more than twenty countries, and their whole approach is built around finding fresh ways into classical music. Rather than simply performing the repertoire, they layer in modern technology, visual art and social themes to create something more immersive and more collaborative. Storytelling and experimentation sit at the core of what they do. Their programming pulls from a wide range of orchestral staples, including works by Saint Saëns, Mozart, Grieg, Mussorgsky, Prokofiev, Tchaikovsky and Bach, but the presentation rarely feels conventional. In one concert format they surround the audience with holographic projections of a haunted house that shift and respond to the music, blurring the line between what you see and what you hear. The conductor Amin Ebrahimi leads the ensemble, which has also staged world premieres alongside the standard canon.
