About
Troy, New York hardcore outfit Brick By Brick built their sound on what locals call Troy Core, a style rooted in the aggression of Hatebreed and Slayer. They wasted no time getting to work, dropping their debut Pull The Trigger within their first year together, and have since put out seven studio records across labels including Eulogy Recordings and Upstate Records. Their 2015 release This World, My Enemy was their first to reach an international audience, and 2017's Thin The Heard followed on Fast Break! Records. The band has a knack for pulling in notable guests. Their track In The Ruins featured Vincent Bennett of The Acacia Strain, a collaboration they liked enough to revisit on 2019's Hive Mentality, which also included Tony Foresta of Municipal Waste and Iron Reagan, plus Jessica Pimentel of Alekhine's Gun. Their 2022 album Dismal Existence brought in Testament's Chuck Billy. Most recently, they put out Collapse in 2025 on Upstate Records.
