About
Broederliefde is a Rotterdam group working in hip hop and pop rap, and they've been at it for sixteen years now. Their breakthrough came with Hard Work Pays Off 2, an album that held the number one spot in the Netherlands for fourteen weeks in a row, a run that still counts as a record. When it turned ten, they sold out the Rotterdam venue Annabel five times over, the same place where its release party had been held. Nine albums later, they've filled Ahoy more than once and become a fixture of Dutch music. The group's whole thing is love, humor and plain old friendship, and that spirit runs through the songs and the stories behind them. They've also taken those stories beyond the studio, looking back on how success went from nothing to everything in a very short time.
