About
Nottingham rapper Bru C moves between drum and bass and bassline in a way that feels completely natural, and his output has been seriously consistent. His debut album Original Sounds landed in 2019 through CruCast, followed just a year later by Smile in 2020. That kind of back to back momentum caught serious attention, and by December 2021 he had signed to Def Jam Recordings, one of the biggest names in the industry. It's a rare move for an artist rooted in UK bass music scenes, and it says a lot about where Bru C sits in the pecking order right now.
