About
Bruno Schmidt builds his sets around tension and controlled disruption rather than easy crowd pleasing moments. Loops accumulate and hold, rhythms push right to the edge of what feels comfortable, and the pressure mounts through repetition until it finally breaks open at exactly the right moment. He held a residency at the Mint Club in Leeds, one of the city's most respected venues, and has run two labels of his own: Domesticated and Assemblies of God. Across all of it, the thread is the same refusal to play it safe or settle into anything predictable.
