About
Bryan Raets works at the intersection of postminimalism, neoclassical and pop, moving between those worlds with the ease of someone who has always thought in multiple musical languages at once. As a pianist, composer and producer, he builds music that is cinematic and meditative, layered enough to feel grand yet intimate enough to sit right next to you. His live show Memento pairs his piano with a string ensemble, and audiences at earlier concerts, including performances in a church, found that the combination generates an organic intensity that recordings simply cannot replicate. The reach of his work is considerable: his music has been streamed more than 180 million times and his content has been viewed over 4 billion times on social media. He has collaborated with artists including Miss Montreal and Nick & Simon, and his compositions have been featured in apps, websites and television series. He is also working on the soundtrack for a feature film.
