About
Candlelight is a concert series produced by Fever that brings live classical and orchestral music into atmospheric spaces lit by thousands of candles. Local musicians perform across a wide range of programmes, from core classical repertoire including works by Vivaldi, Mozart and Chopin to orchestral takes on popular artists like Queen, ABBA, Coldplay and Ed Sheeran. The format is designed to make classical music feel welcoming to people who might never normally set foot in a concert hall, and it draws audiences with no prior connection to the genre just as readily as seasoned classical fans. Each show runs around 60 minutes, keeping things focused and immersive rather than marathon length. The choice of venues is part of the appeal too: Candlelight favours striking, characterful locations where the candlelit setting adds a genuine sense of occasion to the music.
