About
Catalonia's Carlota Flâneur built her reputation on the rare combination of sharp melodic instincts and unfiltered, raw lyricism. She introduced herself with the 2020 EP Brains, then expanded her sound considerably on her debut album Uncertainty, which drew on warm, colourful songwriting to flesh out a more fully realised artistic vision. A collaboration with fellow Catalan artists Núria Graham and Marta Knight produced the single Relate, a polished and dreamy track that showed her at ease working with others. Her album What my body wants pushes further still, balancing light and shadow through rich textures and layered harmonies that frame her characteristically memorable songs.
