With 18 Grammy Awards to her name, CeCe Winans holds the record as the most decorated female gospel singer in history, and her 19 million RIAA certified sales back that up. Detroit born and gospel raised, she first made waves in the 1980s alongside her brother BeBe as the duo BeBe & CeCe Winans, scoring a string of gold and platinum records and becoming the first gospel act to go platinum together. Their album Different Lifestyles crossed the million unit mark, only the second gospel album ever to do so. Her solo debut, Alone in His Presence, went platinum and won a Grammy, and the hits kept coming. Everlasting Love featured a Lauryn Hill penned track, and her duet with Whitney Houston on "Count On Me" from the Waiting to Exhale soundtrack cracked the Billboard Hot 100 top ten. Her 2017 album Let Them Fall in Love took two more Grammys, and the 2021 live worship record Believe for It added three more, including Best Gospel Album. She also has a star on both the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Music City Walk of Fame.
