Célimène Daudet plays with a reach that spans Carnegie Hall, the Astana Opera, the Beijing National Center for Performing Arts, and stages across Russia, Southeast Asia, Latin America and the Middle East, quite a footprint for a French classical pianist from Aix en Provence. Her recordings cover a lot of ground too: a Bach tribute album that earned four stars from Classica, a complete Art of Fugue, World War One repertoire with violinist Amanda Favier, and a 2018 disc pairing Messiaen with Debussy preludes. She is a Steinway Artist and has won several international competitions, including the Pro Musicis International Prize in duet with Favier's fellow string player Guillaume Latour. In 2016 she launched the Haïti Piano Project, getting a concert grand piano to Haiti and setting up the country's first annual classical music festival the following year.
