About
Also known as: Chandler Rebecca Leighton
Before carving out her own lane, Chandler Leighton was already making noise in the EDM world, lending her vocals to "Lonely" on ILLENIUM's album Ascend back in 2019. Her solo work took a little longer to find its footing, but 2022 changed everything: the standalone single "When You Say My Name" became what she calls her career defining song, and her debut EP A Letter to My Vices showed off a sound that pulls from dark pop, alt pop, indie pop and pop rock without sitting still in any one of them. Leighton writes from the harder parts of life, heartbreak, dysfunction, self discovery, and she's said it's easier to make music from the painful stuff than the good. That honesty threads through her 2024 debut album Proof You Weren't The Only One and into the singles she has been releasing for her upcoming EP Coming Up for Air. She also started performing with a live band in 2025, adding a new dimension to a solo act that has quietly been building something real.
