About
Circle of Mud are a French blues rock quartet with a clear sense of where they come from and where they want to go. Frontman Flo Bauer, a former contestant on The Voice and winner of the Révélation Prix at Blues sur Seine, drives the band with a powerful voice and expressive guitar work that gives the group its distinctive intensity. Alongside him, Gino Monachello handles guitar and lap steel, Franck Bedez holds down the bass, and Matthieu Zirn anchors the rhythm on drums. Together they blend deep roots in classic blues tradition with something that feels very much of the present. The result is a sound that sits comfortably between reverence for the genre and a genuine desire to push it forward.
