Compact Disk Dummies are an electropunk duo from Waregem, Belgium, made up of brothers Lennert and Janus Coorevits. They play keyboards and share vocal duties, with Lennert adding guitar to the mix, and live they are joined by drummer Robin Wille. The pair shot to attention when they won Humo's Rock Rally in 2012 as teenagers at the Ancienne Belgique, beating out acts like Geppetto & The Whales. Their 2013 debut EP Mess with Us and its single The Reeling hit the top of Studio Brussel's De Afrekening chart and spent six weeks in the Flemish Ultratop 50. Their debut album Silver Souls followed in 2016, and they have kept building since, with the EP Satellites in 2019, Neon Fever Dream in 2020, and The Signal in 2024. The lead single from Neon Fever Dream, I Remember, also reached number one in De Afrekening, showing they had moved well beyond their early buzz.
