About
Cristian D, real name Emanuel Doru, is a Dutch rapper from Haarlem who landed his first number one hit with Amsterdam, a track he made together with $hirak, Brysa and Ashafar. That single held the top spot in the Dutch Single Top 100 for six weeks in a row, four of those consecutively at number one. Not bad for someone whose debut single Le Bled, a 2021 collab with Brysa, had already cracked the Top 100 at number fourteen. He picked up a FunX Music Award in the Next Best category in June 2022, a pretty solid early stamp of approval from one of the Netherlands' biggest urban music platforms. His track 1234 is another fan favourite rounding out his early catalogue.
