Damian de Muijnck Trio
Damian de Muijnck Trio has one upcoming show in the Netherlands: on November 15, 2026 at Pletterij debat en cultuur, Haarlem.
About
Damian de Muijnck is a familiar face in the Dutch jazz scene, known above all for his work in modern jazz. He has played with plenty of respected musicians and is a member of several ensembles, so the trio is just one corner of a busy musical life. With the trio he made Standards With Friends, an album that doubles as a personal tribute to the jazz tradition he loves. Instead of leaving the classic repertoire untouched, he reinterprets it and blends it with his own contemporary musical language. The result sounds open, lively and intimate, with a lot of room for improvisation and interplay between the players. Critics responded very warmly to it.
