Danny Saucedo built his name on Swedish pop with a knack for chart topping hooks. After finishing in the top six of Idol 2006, he released his debut album Heart Beats, which sent three singles straight to the top of the Swedish charts: "Tokyo", "Play It for the Girls" and "Radio". He then juggled a solo career with his role in pop trio E.M.D., alongside Erik Segerstedt and Mattias Andréasson. That group notched a No. 1 debut album with A State of Mind and scored another chart topper with "Baby Goodbye" before going on indefinite hiatus in 2010. Saucedo has competed in Melodifestivalen five times, both as an artist and as a songwriter, finishing second twice as a solo act with "In the Club" in 2011 and "Amazing" in 2012. He also represented Sweden at the Eurovision Dance Contest in 2008. His single "If Only You" reached No. 1 in Poland and Russia, giving him a foothold outside Scandinavia. With five studio albums and more than fifteen singles to his name, he remains one of the more versatile figures in Swedish pop.
