About
De Marinierskapel der Koninklijke Marine is one of the top wind orchestras in the Netherlands, with a reputation built on a rich, full sound, musical versatility and consistently high quality. The ensemble performs a broad repertoire that stretches from symphonic works to lighter music, keeping programmes varied and engaging for a wide range of audiences. Chef conductor Erik van der Kolk leads the ensemble. The Marinierskapel holds a place among the most respected military orchestras in the country, and its concerts tend to carry both real musical weight and a celebratory atmosphere that sets them apart from the average classical night out.
