About
Also known as: Erick Orrosquieta
Deorro, born Erick Orrosquieta, operates right at the intersection of EDM and Latin culture, and that dual identity is what makes him stand out in a crowded scene. The Mexico City and Los Angeles rooted DJ and producer signed to Ultra Records broke wide open with 'Five Hours' in early 2014, a track that charted across seven European countries, and followed it up with collabs alongside Steve Aoki, Diplo, and R3hab in the same year. His debut album Good Evening landed in 2017, stacking 26 tracks including 'Rise and Shine'. His own label Panda Funk has been a key part of his story, giving him space to push house, big room, and melbourne bounce on his own terms. More recently he has been leaning into his Latin roots, linking up with Santa Fe Klan on 'La Bandera' in 2025 and experimenting with cumbia edits that hint at where his head is at these days.
