About
Dice were a Swedish symphonic progressive rock band from the 1970s, and they earned their reputation fast, especially among other musicians. People often lined them up next to the big names of art rock, think Gentle Giant, Yes, ELP and Genesis. Keyboardist Leif Larson was the band's main composer and vocalist, writing with guitarist Örjan, while Per played drums and Fredrik bass. Robert Holmin was the original lead singer. Much of their music never made it onto record back in the day. Songs like "Paradise", written in 1979 and captured as a demo in their rehearsal room, were played live but sat unreleased for decades. Later material, such as "One Good Reason", was composed in the 2000s, with lyrics added in 2025. Larson passed away in 2024, and these recordings are now being put out the way the band always wanted them to sound.
