About
Die Verlierer hit the ground running when they debuted in 2022, and the German post punk scene has not been the same since. Their first album was picked as one of the year's best punk records by Maximum Rocknroll, and Notausgang landed on Bandcamp's Best Punk Releases of 2024. Sold out nights at Berlin's SO36, tours across Germany and Europe, and shows in the UK and Mexico have built them a devoted following on multiple continents. Politics have always been woven into what they do, and their third album Ideale pushes that further, with lyrics taking direct aim at war, greed and the abuse of power. The music around those words is guitar driven and instantly recognisable, moving through a wide range of dynamics and moods while keeping that restless, physical energy that works equally well in a sweaty punk club or at a festival.
