Dikke, the rap alias of Mohamed Eddahbi Agounad from Lummen, Belgium, made a serious entrance when his debut album 130 Kilo landed straight at number one on the Belgian Ultratop. Recording under the label Top Notch Belgium, he followed that up quickly with Nooduitgang in the same year, then closed out 2022 with a third album, Beef Met Mezelf, showing a pace that most artists would struggle to keep up with. Before anyone was booking him for shows, Agounad was working in clothing stores to pay the bills, and he even finished a degree in Logistics Management with distinction in 2022. His roots in Dutch language rap go back to early YouTube days when he was rapping over nineties beats under the name Moker, before settling on the name Dikke. Three albums in, he has gone from posting amateur clips on Facebook to headlining his own releases on one of Belgium's most respected hip hop labels.
