Dizzy DROS, the stage name of Casablanca born rapper Omar Souhaili, built his reputation on sharp wordplay and a knack for speaking directly to Moroccan urban life. His 2013 debut album 3azzy 3ando Stylo, a 21 track project featuring collaborations with Muslim and Shayfeen, is widely considered one of the most influential hip hop records Morocco has produced, with TelQuel calling it among the best of the last ten years. He has a talent for moments that cut through. His 2019 diss track Moutanabbi, aimed at fellow rapper Don Bigg, crossed one million YouTube views in under 24 hours and has since racked up over 24 million. His 2023 video M3a L3echrane, packed with political and social commentary and impressions of public figures, hit ten million views in just five days. Beyond music, he voiced a character in the video game Disco Elysium and co judged the national rap competition JamShow alongside ElGrandeToto.
