DJ Fireman (GAM)

About

DJ Fireman, based in The Gambia, has spent more than 27 years carrying the sound of African roots reggae across the globe. He is widely regarded as one of the most committed ambassadors of conscious reggae to emerge from that country, building his reputation not just as a selector but as someone who genuinely lives the culture he promotes. His sets move through roots reggae, lovers rock and carefully chosen classics, always with an emphasis on positive messaging and unity over spectacle. The philosophy he works under, wisdom over hype, runs through everything he does: no chasing trends, no surface level crowd pleasers, just music that carries real weight. His European touring has brought him to a range of cities, connecting audiences across different backgrounds through what he calls Firehouse vibes.
