About
DJ JP, real name Jeffrey Archer, is a Brooklyn born DJ who made his name as the official DJ for the late New York rapper Pop Smoke. That association alone puts him at the center of one of the most talked about rap runs of recent years. Beyond that, he has worked alongside some serious names, including Cardi B, Future, Migos, Boogie Bryson Tiller, and Mavado. He went professional in 2013, locking in deals with New York colleges to spin for shows headlined by artists like Jay Z and A Boogie. In 2020 he was part of the Thanksgiving 97 hours mix and led the Adidas annual 300 sneakers giveaway, showing he moves comfortably between the booth and brand activations.
