About
DK Zero came together in 2017 when steampunk fashion figure Kato teamed up with Derek Brown of Abney Park to build a punk and industrial band out of Los Angeles. Their debut album From Nothing landed in 2018, and the live reputation followed quickly: they took the main stage at Wave Gotik Treffen in 2019 and headlined Wasteland Weekend the same year, two of the biggest events on the post industrial and alternative festival circuit. The band sits squarely at the crossroads of punk energy and industrial atmosphere, drawing on the same neo Victorian and post apocalyptic world that both founders had already spent years working in through other projects.
