About
Also known as: Dorota Rabczewska
Doda has been one of Poland's biggest and most talked about pop names for over two decades. She first blew up as the voice of hard rock band Virgin, whose album Bimbo hit number one on the Polish sales chart and gave them the hit "Dżaga". Ficca went on to sell over 100,000 copies and went triple platinum, powered by ballads like "Znak pokoju", "2 bajki" and "Szansa", which won the Grand Prix at the National Festival of Polish Song in Opole. After Virgin split, she went solo with Diamond Bitch in 2007, another number one record, and "Nie daj się" is still her biggest solo hit. Later albums include 7 pokus głównych, Dorota and Aquaria. She is a three time MTV Europe Music Award winner, and her collaboration with Smolasty, "Nim zajdzie słońce", topped the Polish charts and reached three times diamond sales. She has also moved into acting, debuting in the film Pitbull. Last Dog.
