About
Also known as: DJ Dr Kucho!, Dr Kucho, Dr Kucho!, Dr Kuchoi, Dr. Hucho, Dr. Kucho
Spanish house DJ and producer Dr Kucho! has one track that keeps coming back around: "Can't Stop Playing", made with Gregor Salto in 2005. It got a second life in 2014, when Oliver Heldens remixed it and Ane Brun added vocals, and that version climbed to number 4 in the UK charts. Not bad for a tune that was already nearly a decade old. His story in the UK goes back further, though. "Patricia never leaves the house" opened that market for him in 2001, and he brought it back in January 2009 with fresh remixes from himself, Gregor Salto, Peter Gelderblom and Mike Haddad & Royce Haven. It sold strongly on Beatport early that year. In 2004 he put out "New School Tribal", a track with African roots and catchy chants that hit number 26 on Beatport's house downloads within a week and held its spot for weeks. He seems to like kicking off a year with a bang.
