About
New York by way of Seattle, Dreamers is the pop rock trio of Nick Wold and Marc Nelson, with a sound that leans into big hooks, loud guitars, and an unabashed love of melody. Wold cut his teeth fronting the grunge act Motive, which earned comparisons to The Strokes and shared stages with The Vaccines and Walk the Moon before dissolving. Dreamers emerged from that wreckage in 2014, and Alternative Press quickly pegged them as one of 100 Bands You Need To Know. Their debut LP This Album Does Not Exist arrived in 2016, followed by the ambitious trilogy of EPs that eventually became their second album Launch Fly Land in 2019. Along the way they opened for Stone Temple Pilots, played Lollapalooza and Coachella, and collaborated with Grandson on a reworked version of their track "Heat Seeker", which even found its way into Just Dance 2021. Their catalog is full of energetic, hook driven rock that sits comfortably in the alt radio lane without ever feeling like it is playing it safe.
