About
Dreamtale built their early reputation the hard way, selling out their demo Refuge from Reality on the day it dropped, with most copies moving in Japan of all places. That unexpected Japanese fanbase is what put them on the radar of labels worldwide, eventually landing them a deal with Spinefarm Records in 2001. Founded by guitarist Rami Keränen in Tampere, the band plays a blend of power metal and symphonic metal that has kept them going through a constantly shifting lineup, with Keränen the only member present since day one. Over the years Dreamtale have put out eight studio albums, ranging from their well received debut Beyond Reality to the 2022 release Everlasting Flame. Their fifth album Epsilon even cracked the Official Finnish Charts at number 39. Timo Tolkki mixed their sixth record World Changed Forever, and their seventh Seventhian... Memories of Time came packaged with re recordings of older tracks alongside a full disc of new material.
