Dry Kill Logic got their name from a mixing console manual, specifically the circuitry that mutes an unprocessed audio signal. That kind of detail says a lot about a band that takes its craft seriously. Out of Westchester County, New York, they built their name through relentless touring, sharing stages with Slayer, Fear Factory, Motörhead and plenty of others, and their 2001 debut The Darker Side of Nonsense moved around 100,000 copies worldwide. They were hand picked by Dave Mustaine for the 2005 Gigantour arena run, which is not a small thing. Their sound sits somewhere in the middle of nu metal, groove metal and metalcore, with influences ranging from Sepultura and Machine Head to, surprisingly, Stevie Ray Vaughan. After going quiet for much of the late 2000s, they came back swinging around 2019, signing to eOne Music and releasing new material including the single Vices. They performed live at Welcome to Rockville in 2025, marking their first show in 19 years.
