Duffy x Uhlmann is an instrumental experimental guitar duo made up of Meg Duffy and Gregory Uhlmann, both based in Los Angeles. The two released their debut record Doubles in 2023, a collaboration that sits in the space where experimental music and guitar craft overlap in genuinely unexpected ways. Uhlmann is a busy figure in the LA scene, having contributed to records by Perfume Genius, Miya Folick, and others, while Meg Duffy is the creative force behind Hand Habits. Together as Duffy x Uhlmann, they strip things back to two guitars and let the interplay do the talking, no vocals, no fuss, just texture and conversation between two players who clearly have a lot to say to each other.
