About
Also known as: Adam George Dyment, Dave Dumont, Duke of Dumont
Duke Dumont, the stage name of London born producer Adam George Dyment, has a knack for turning deep house grooves into chart topping moments. His run of singles in the early 2010s was genuinely hard to ignore: "Need U (100%)" and "I Got U" both hit number one on the UK singles chart, with "I Got U" cleverly weaving in Whitney Houston's "My Love Is Your Love". Both tracks also picked up Grammy nominations for Best Dance Recording. "Won't Look Back" pushed him to number two, cementing his status as one of the UK's sharpest house producers. His debut album Duality finally arrived in 2020, almost a decade into his career. Dumont held off on purpose, wanting to make something with real emotional weight, strings and all. He founded his own label Blasé Boys Club, which doubles as a production alias, and the 2015 EP of the same name included "Ocean Drive", arguably his most recognisable track. More recently he has been putting out new music including "Ain't Giving Up" in 2024.
