Pigeons and Planes once called Duwap Kaine the "godfather of internet rap", and it's hard to argue with that. The Savannah, Georgia rapper built his name through the SoundCloud rap wave of the late 2010s, blending trap, melodic rap, and autotune soaked hooks into a sound that felt genuinely his own. Early collaborations with producer Pi'erre Bourne helped put him on the map, but his projects Underdog and Bad Kid from the 4 are what cemented his rep with a dedicated underground following.
