Dylan Scott hit his stride in 2016 when 'My Girl', a song he wrote for his wife Blair, climbed to number one and went Platinum with over a million copies sold. The Louisiana born, Nashville based country singer had been building toward that moment since his 2013 debut single 'Makin' This Boy Go Crazy', which showed off the deep baritone that would become his calling card. His self titled debut album followed later that year, debuting at number five on the Top Country Albums chart, and the follow up single 'Hooked' pushed him to number two. Signed to Curb Records, Scott has shown a softer, more personal side too. His 2019 EP An Old Memory is a full collection of Keith Whitley covers, with Whitley's widow Lorrie Morgan joining him for the project. It's a left turn from his radio friendly sound, but one that makes a lot of sense for a singer with that kind of voice.
