Electro Symphony

About

Electro Symphony takes the biggest dance and EDM anthems and hands them to a live orchestra. More than 35 musicians, vocalists and soloists play it all, with strings, brass, percussion, saxophone, guitar and electric violin blending into the electronic beats. The idea is to mix the grandeur of a symphony concert with the energy of a dance festival, so people are moved and dancing at the same time. The repertoire leans on classics by the likes of David Guetta, Avicii, Tiësto, Darude, Axwell, Steve Aoki and Calvin Harris. A typical night builds in stages: a DJ warm up to set the mood, a long main set with the orchestra, live vocals, lights and visuals, and a closing afterparty where the concert hall turns into a dance floor. Since launching, the project has grown into one of the more inventive symphonic concert concepts in Europe, playing dozens of shows across multiple countries in a single touring year.
