About
From Tilburg, ENMA blends progressive metal with 90s grunge and a persistent melancholic streak, drawing comparisons to Tool, Opeth and Alice in Chains. Their debut album Apathy Awakened arrived in 2022, followed by the singles Enchantress and Obsidian, which push that mix of progressive metal and 90s alternative sounds into sharper territory. Live, they are known for tight performances and impressive multi part vocal harmonies that hold up just as well on stage as on record. On the road they have shared bills with SOEN, Riverside and Napalm Death, and played festivals including Prognosis and ProgPower Europe. Press coverage has picked out the band's grunge grooves, 70s rock influences and the Opeth like quality of their vocal lines as standout features.
