About
Enny made her name with "Peng Black Girls", a 2020 single that really took off once a remix with Jorja Smith was performed live on Colors. It's a fitting breakout for a South East London artist who moves easily between rapping and singing, mixing the sharp, honest lyrics of UK hip hop with R&B warmth. She started out posting freestyle videos on YouTube, then self released her debut single "He's Not Into You" in April 2020, a track full of blunt truths about relationships. Jorja Smith noticed and signed her to her label FAMM. Since then she has put out the EPs Under Twenty Five and We Go Again, plus singles like "No More Naija Men" and "Charge It", the latter getting a remix with Smino in late 2023.
