About
Envy Peru, the drag persona of Boris Itzkovich Escobar, won the first season of Drag Race Holland in 2020, becoming the first Dutch Drag Superstar and, notably, the first winner of any RuPaul's Drag Race franchise worldwide to be invited back as a judge in another version of the show. That milestone alone says a lot about the weight she carries in the drag world. Active as a drag performer since 2016, Peru co founded the drag house Mermaids Mansion and took home three prizes at the Superball in Paradiso, one of Europe's biggest drag competitions. Beyond the competition circuit, she has been a main judge on the RTL 4 show Make Up Your Mind and was one of the leading artists in the largest drag residency show in Europe at Harbourclub Theater Amsterdam. A viral makeover video with NikkieTutorials racked up over 3.5 million views, and a makeup tutorial she created appeared in Vogue NL. In 2024 she made history as one of the first drag queens ever to enter the United Nations during the High Level Political Forum in New York.
