About
Also known as: Eric Christian von Fricken
A pianist and composer from New York, Eric Christian writes music that tells stories. His pieces are rooted in the classical tradition while leaning into rich, sweeping melodies that feel immediate and emotionally direct. Listeners drawn to composers like Ludovico Einaudi will find familiar territory in his work, which sits comfortably in the neoklassical space without feeling derivative. Christian crafts works that are both technically grounded and deeply expressive, letting the piano carry a kind of narrative weight that goes beyond pure technique.
