Few Las Vegas bands have had a lineup saga as dramatic as Escape the Fate. Formed in 2004, they broke through with their debut album Dying Is Your Latest Fashion in 2006, but founding vocalist Ronnie Radke was fired mid 2008 after being sentenced to prison following an altercation that left an 18 year old dead. Craig Mabbitt, fresh from Blessthefall, stepped in and the band barely missed a beat. Their next album, This War Is Ours, debuted at No. 35 on the Billboard 200 in 2008, selling 13,000 copies in its first week. Their self titled third album in 2010 pushed them even higher, reaching No. 25 on the Billboard 200, their best chart position to date. The 2013 follow up Ungrateful gave them their highest charting moment on the U.S. Mainstream Rock charts with "One for the Money". Now signed to John Feldmann's Big Noise label, they have kept the momentum going with Chemical Warfare in 2021 and Out of the Shadows in 2023. Drummer Robert Ortiz is the only founding member still standing.
