About
Korean media called Everglow the "ultimate performance boss" almost from the start, and the group built that rep on a mix of EDM and trap flavoured synth pop and a proper girl crush attitude. They debuted in March 2019 with "Bon Bon Chocolat", which got them tagged as "monster rookies", then followed up with "Adios", which hit number two on Billboard's World Digital Song Sales chart and topped the iTunes K pop chart in 11 countries. The hits kept coming. "Dun Dun" took off in early 2020, and "La Di Da", co written by member E:U, was named the best K pop song of 2020 by Billboard. The group started as a six piece, but after leaving their former label YH Entertainment they regrouped as a quartet with E:U, Sihyeon, Onda and Aisha under Chxxta Company. Billboard's Jeff Benjamin has noted that they tend to connect especially well with Western audiences.
